Prayer

Thank you for upholding me in prayer!

On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us, as you help us by your prayers. Then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gracious favor granted us in answer to the prayers of many.

– 1 Corinthians 1:10b-11

Praise Items

  • Good furlough with a lot of much-needed family time, including my brother’s wedding.
  • God’s leading through the transition of multiplying the CEEMed Region from one into two new regions.
  • Several support increases, allowing me to return to the field as planned.

Prayer Requests

  • Safe and smooth journey back to Hungary, Oct. 4-5, getting over jetlag quickly, and re-acclimating to life in Hungary after my longest furlough in 10 years.
  • Leaders Meetings – scheduled to be held in-person, Oct. 13-17. Pray for travel logistics, especially in light of ever-changing Covid requirements, for people coming from multiple countries to Croatia. (I plan to drive from Hungary, which involved crossing borders into two countries.) Pray, too, for a good bonding time as we hold our first leaders meeting as a new region.
  • Fall ministries starting back up. Our regular fall English course will start in October, with a shorter than usual schedule, due to teachers’ fall schedules. We will begin our fall ladies’ ministries with informal online meetings, with plans for an in-person gathering in December.
  • For the Covid pandemic to subside.
